This iPad alternative also features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 3G connectivity. The ThinkPad comes with a digitizer stylus which allows you to write notes directly on the tablet. LG Optimus Pad – This is an iPad alternative for those who expect an outstanding 3D experience for a tablet. Its 8.9 inch capacitive display has a 1024×768 pixel resolution which is similar to the iPad’s. The Optimus Pad is also powered by a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and 1 GB RAM. At $700, this tablet is indeed pricier than the iPad. However, a first tablet with 3D capabilities, the price is worth it.
